The first meeting of the 2017-2018 cycle of Holy Spirit Center Men's Group will be on September 9th. Generally, the Men's group meets every other Saturday at 7:00 AM in the Resurrection Chapel. A complete listing of all the dates will be provided soon. Join us at any time during the cycle.
Men from throughout the Archdiocese attend the Men’s Group. All are welcome. Please invite your friends to join us. It is a wonderful resource to support our spiritual development that we would love to share with more men.
We start with Mass with our celebrant Father Luz followed by 30 minutes of shared coffee, snacks and fellowship. Each week we will read and discuss one chapter from our chosen book. This year we will be reading the book “Adam’s Return” by Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM.
Suggested donations to the Holy Spirit Center for the Men's Group: $50 a year plus $5 per session attended. Some people pay up front for everything with one check so they don't need to donate $5 at each session. There will be a total of 19 sessions, 19x5= $95 plus $50 = 145. With $15 for the book the total is $160. If this is more than you can afford, please come anyway and you can speak privately with Mike Herndon or Alan Muise. The donations are only a partial payment toward electricity, upkeep and maintenance and for Father Luz.
Regular and decaf coffee is provided, and you might consider bringing something good to eat to share with the group.
