Our Mission

To provide a sacred space and to accompany people as they seek to find God in all things.

Our History

The Holy Spirit Center was originally built for the Archdiocese of Anchorage as a seminary but was later used as a monastery for years. The Society of Jesus, or Jesuits, were active at the Holy Spirit Center until 2007 when directorship was transferred to lay people, which is how it continues to this day.

Our Team

The Holy Spirit Center is staffed by an executive director and assisted by a dedicated team of volunteers. If you would like to join our team, please reach out through our volunteer page!
